I Love Brogues, I do.

I love brogues. These pics are from our engagement shoot (I got mine first, he copied me. haha!) I just love them.

They're so comfy but they also look nice, two traits that so rarely go hand in hand.

I have 2 pairs at the minute. My almost 2 years old baby pink, Top Shop pair (they went with me to the O2 last year to RATM, below) and the lovely Office ones in our engagement pics. I'm thinking I need a new pair. My sister got a really nice pair in Penneys recently.

If I had the money I would 'invest' in these Mui Mui ones. I'm a total magpie when it comes to anything shiny.

Before I got the tan ones I considered them in this buff colour. I definitely need a heeled version too, hmmmm....

The Queen St. (Toronto) shoe shop, Get Outside, have these babys on their site at the minute. Must go in for a look.

Oh Alexa, you are so right.

Shoe Wish List

Following on from the last post...

I really want some comfortable sandals to wear with the potential new outfits.

I seem to be finding it really hard to find flat sandals that look nice. Not too dressy, not too casual, in a neutral colour, no between toe strap, oh yeah, and I want them to be super comfy. Not too much to ask is it?

Something like this but with less toe cleavage.

Anyone have any ideas.

I love these pumps too and I think thy would go with pretty much anything.

I love both of these heeled sandals but can't decide which one I like the most.

All these shoes are from Clarks. I love Clarks shoes, they're so comfortable. Even the heels are comfy and as I love my heels, I love Clarks!

Current Wish List

So I moved to Canada....

Its only starting to show signs of spring here at the minute but all the locals are warning me that the summer will be very, very, very warm, so this has me thinking about all the summery clothes I want to buy.

At the minute the budget may just about stretch to Forever 21 so I've been prowling their website.

For work, I would love this shirt with these shorts.....

....or this skirt with a light white cotton shirt....

....and then all of these dresses. I must have them.

My absolute favourite dress, is this one....

...and then for weekends....

Wedding Shoes

So I've been craving Diane Hassals Buttercup shoes nearly as long as I've been engaged, but..... (and there is a very big BUT) they are more than I really wanted to pay for my wedding shoes.

So I went on the hunt for the best price I could find. I got my list of Irish stockists from the Rainbow Club website and started calling. I knew Elegant Steps had them for €230 so I hoped to do a bit better than this.

Well one of the first stores I got through to was Chamarie in Mullingar. I told the girl I had got her number from the website and asked did she stock the shoes. I had expected to have to order them in but turns out she had buttercup in in a 3!! (my size) and, and, and, they were on sale!!

I headed down there the next day from Kildare, and I have to say the shop is just fabulous. Before I settled on buttercup the girl there was so helpful and brought me out lots of other options in my size she thought I might like. There was so many great choices there that I found it hard to decide, but eventually I went for Buttercup. I thought I might regret it in the future if I didnt go for my first love. In the end they I got them for €170, so very happy with my bargain.

I have to say the experience in the shop was great and I would definetly recommend anyone looking for beautiful shoes to try there.

Also to all you Mullingar residents, I haven't been to Mullingar since I was a kid and you guys are spoilt for some great shops and boutiques down there. I'm so jealous.

Heres my shoes....
