I Love Springtime

We had snow today. Yep, wet cold, white, sleety snow. I know in Ireland at the minute people are starting to enjoy summer weather and the spring flowers have almost gone but here we're only starting to see green coming back. I took this picture last weekend but these shoots are getting bigger every day.


No blooms yet but all the stores have beautiful bunches of tulips and daffodils displayed outside.

On Weddings Online recently the topic of daffodils as a bouquet flower came ip and I think this would be just stunning. Perfect for spring.













The bride was going for a yellow, grey and cream colour scheme, which I just love. This mood board is from the first ever wedding blog I started to follow and I think she does the best mood boards around. The site is Snippet and Ink and this mood board appears here.



To carry on the daffodil theme you could make a donation to the Irish cancer society in lieu of favours.

Green Living Show

Today me and hubby went to the Green Living Show. Its one of those exhibition things where you pay in so people can try and sell you things. Luckily we had free tickets so we decided to have a mooch.

We got to try some yummy organic sorbet and some cappuccino flavoured soy milk and I got to try a cereal barthat reminded me of one me and the Diesel girls used to get in Holland and Barratt so I must track these down in the shops in Toronto.

We were also talking to this woman who had her daughter with her on the stand. They make lovely raised beds that I would love for our balcony to start growing some veg.





Lastly we were also talking to a lovely girl who was exhibiting her fairtrade jewellery designs with her Mum. Such a lovely lady. I'm dreaming of eternity rings....

My favourite part of the day though was trying out the Nissan Leaf for size.



I really liked it.

Homesickness

I've been listening to Bright Lights really loudly the past few days and I love it. Unfortunately I've been in the same room as Conor most of the time so I've been listening to it really loudly on headphones!
